The celebration was held to mark the 47th anniversary of the founding of the AUO (now African Union).
Ambassador Chikhi was, on that occasion, interviewed by a journalist from the radio, the “Voice of Vietnam", on the relationship between Algeria and Vietnam. He especially discussed on the context in which the relationship was woven, recalled the recent important visits exchanged between the two countries, including the one made by President Nguyen Minh Triet, in Algeria, in April 2010 and discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation development.
