Bilateral Events Vietnam-Algeria Friendship Day : 2nd Congress of the Vietnam-Algeria Friendship Association. The 2nd Congress of the Vietnam-Algeria Friendship Association was held in Hanoi on Saturday, May 09th, 2009, with the attendence of Mr. Trần Đặc Lợi, Vice-President of VUFO and His Excellency Mr. Naceur BOUCHERIT, Ambassador of Algeria at Hanoi, Vietnam. The Congress which made an assessment of the 2004-2009 mandate elected His Excellency Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, Vice Minister of Construction as President of the Association of Friendship, has renewed its executive Committee and adopted a action plan for the forthcoming years.
