Mr. Noureddine Moussa, Minister of the Habitat and Town planning, received yesterday Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, Vice-Minister of the Construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, accompanied with a significant delegation and with the ambassador of Vietnam at Algiers.
During this meeting, the Vice-Minister of the Construction of Vietnam expressed the will of his country to see Vietnamese companies contributing to the realization of the significant program of residences and public equipments engaged by Algeria.
On his side, Mr. Noureddine Moussa, after having presented the significant public investment plan in the field of construction and the expectations of its sector, suggested to the Vietnamese part to concretize as soon as possible the Algerian-Vietnamese co-operation by taking over a program of realization of residences, in particular within the framework of the eradication of precarious habitat in large cities, and encouraged Vietnamese companies to invest in the production of building materials and the industrialization of the building.
A significant documentation on the sector of the habitat and town planning was given to the Vietnamese delegation, in particular the code of government contracts and the specifications relating to the realization of the social housing.
Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam In Annaba
On invitation of Mr. Mustapha Benbada, Minister of SME and Craft industry, Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, Vietnamese Vice-Minister of Construction, pays since March 22 a visit of work in our country, with the head of a significant delegation of economic operators and high persons in charge of his government department.
During his stay, Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, will have discussions with Mr. Mustapha Benbada, Minister of SME and of the Craft industry and Mr. Noureddine Moussa, Minister of the Habitat and Town planning and Mr. Hocine Djoudi, Minister of Finance.
In addition, the Vietnamese delegation will move today with the Wilayate of Annaba, to discuss with the local authorities the possibilities of cooperation in the field of the realization of a housing construction program.
