Hanoi (VNA) – Algerian Ambassador Naceur Boucherit on Nov. 4 held a banquet to mark the 54th Revolutionary Day, also the National Day of his country (Nov. 1).
His Vietnamese guests included Deputy Foreign Minister Dao Viet Trung, diplomats and representatives of relevant agencies.
Addressing the event, the Ambassador expressed his pleasure to see the two countries’ long-time and sincere amity has been developing to match with their great potentials.
He said he believed that with the two sides’ efforts, the bilateral relations would be tightened and strongly developed.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Government and people, Deputy FM Trung extended congratulations to the Algerian Government and people on the National Day.
He said, Vietnam, as a close friend of Algeria, always pays attention to and is glad at the achievements the Algerian people recorded in their national development.
Upholding the traditional relationship, the two countries have been expanding their comprehensive cooperation, particularly in trade, oil and gas industry.-Enditem
