The Commander-in-Chief of the People’s National Army (ANP), the Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaïd Salah, received yesterday in Algiers the Director of the General Politics Department of the Vietnam People’s Army, General Le Van Dzung, who is paying an official visit in Algeria.
The audience took place at the head-office of the ministry of National Defense (MDN) in the presence of general officers of the ANP and of their Vietnamese counterparts accompanying General Le Van Dzung. The discussions between the two parts primarily related to the state of the relations of military co-operation maintained by Algeria and Vietnam and the prospects for their development.
The Director of the General Politics Department of the Vietnamese army, who came to Algeria with a significant delegation, was received last Monday by Mr. Abdelmalek Guenaïzia, minister delegate to the Minister of national Defense.

Algiers - Mr. Abdelmalek Guenaïzia, minister delegate to the Minister of national Defense, received, on Monday, at the head office of the ministry of national Defense (MDN), General Le Van Dzung, Director of the General Politics Department of the army of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The talks between the two parts related to the fields of bilateral co-operation of common interest and the examination of the ways and means of their development. The Senior officers of the People’s National army (ANP) attended the talks. General Le Van Dzung, currently remains in Algeria, with a significant delegation, within the framework of a visit of work and friendship.

Hà Nội (TTXVN) - Sáng 19/10, đoàn đại biểu cán bộ cấp cao Quân đội Nhân dân Việt Nam do Đại tướng Lê Văn Dũng, Chủ nhiệm Tổng cục Chính trị dẫn đầu, đă rời thủ đô Angiê, kết thúc tốt đẹp chuyến thăm Angiêri.
Đại tướng Lê Văn Dũng cho biết chuyến thăm đă thành công ngoài dự kiến, góp phần tăng cường hơn nữa quan hệ hữu nghị, hiểu biết lẫn nhau giữa quân đội và nhân dân hai nước.
Trong thời gian ở thăm Angiêri 5 ngày, đoàn đă tiếp kiến Bộ trưởng uỷ nhiệm bên cạnh Bộ Quốc pḥng Abdelmalek Guenaizia và hội đàm với quan chức một số cơ quan Bộ Quốc pḥng Angiêri nhằm tăng cường quan hệ hợp tác giữa quân đội hai nước.
Ngày 17/10, Đại tướng Gaid Salah, Tổng Tham mưu trưởng quân đội nhân dân Angiêri đă tiếp đoàn; đoàn cũng thăm Học viện liên quân thuộc Bộ Quốc pḥng và một số đơn vị quân đội Angiêri./.
