A "race for Peace" was organized around the Hoang Kiem Lake by the Association of Friendship Organizations of the city of Hanoi (HAUFO), the authorities of this city and the daily "Hanoi Moi."
At the invitation of HAUFO, several Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited in Vietnam, including Ambassador Cherif Chikhi, participated.
