As part of the celebration of the 55th Anniversary of the Algerian Revolution of November 1st 1954 and to mark the 47th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Algeria and Vietnam, the Vietnam Union of Friendship organizations and the Vietnam-Algeria Friendship Association, in collaboration with the Embassy of Algeria, held 28/10/2009 at the Office of VUFO (Vietnam Union of Frienship Organizations) a meeting in presence of Vietnamese Government representatives, Communist Party, Institutions and organizations, many friends of Algeria and the members of the Algerian community. The event included, among other things, a cultural component through the exhibition of 60 drawings made by pupils of the Algeria-Vietnam Friendship School under the theme "Perception of Algeria-Vietnam relation through an artistic expression of Vietnamese students".
